Lend Your Voice to Ours to Benefit Women at Emory
The PCSW seeks dedicated, skilled, and passionate women and men to serve the cause of advancing women's interests at Emory. Nominations for the 2009–10 commission are currently being received.
The Nominating Committee will present the slate of nominees at the full commission meeting on February 18, 2009. Appointees will be invited to attend the last meeting of the semester, which will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009.

Meeting Schedule
The regular meeting schedule is from September 2008 to April 2009 on the third Wednesday of the month, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Jones Room of the Woodruff Library.
Membership
The Commission is comprised of at least 36 members. Of these, at least 26 are appointed by the President, and 10 are Ex Officio members. Eight student representatives (4 undergraduate, 2 professional school, and 2 graduate representatives) are appointed by the President for a one-year term. Eight faculty and eight staff members are appointed by the President for three-year terms. In addition, the chair is either a faculty or staff member who is serving a three-year term.
Appointed members of the Commission are selected with as broad a representation as possible from the various divisions of Emory University. The Commission also elects alternates who may attend the commission meetings and participate in d-iscussions.
